Client: Kanika’s Wedding
Objective: To curate a hamper for a wedding that is a celebration of Indian culture. The client was marrying a Britisher, and they wanted the gifts to showcase the Indian culture. The hamper should -
- Have a traditional and Indian feel to it
- Contains a mix of edibles and keepsakes
- Have a custom logo on the box
Approach: As the clients spoke to us, team BoxUp Luxury Gifting learned that the wedding is going to be an amalgamation of cultures, with most of the wedding guests coming in to see and celebrate the Indian culture. The clients were particular about having wedding gift hampers with items that were very obviously Indian in terms of look and feel and we went with that as the overall theme.
After deliberating on the items, we finally settled for products that were a mix of edibles and keepsakes. The final hamper contained a carved wooden tea light holder with patterns that were traditional and painted in white. Next in the hamper was a box of Phool doop, an aromatic incense that was very relatable to the smells one can find in India.
The two edibles in the hamper were a box of Himalayan pink salt brittle – a chocolate with a tinge of saltiness to balance the chocolate flavors; and finally, the last item a jar of mountain rose tea. Each of the items showed the flavors of India in their own way.
From The Client: “We wanted a simple hamper that screams “India” and the BoxUp Luxury Gifting team did a good job of delivering what was expected! Our wedding will be full of guests from outside India, and we wanted to give them Return gifts that reminded them of our Indian wedding. Conclusion: This hamper is a visual celebration of Indian designs, cultures, and patterns. The first glance is an obvious testament to the theme of the hamper, Indian and traditional. The hamper was assembled in a box with the couple's monogram made the hamper truly personal.
